A competitive powerlifter who coaches one-on-one in his own private gym in Sanur. He trains everyone from complete beginners to lifters heading to the platform, in English and Indonesian.

Why I started coaching

It started with a simple goal. I wanted to get stronger. When I began training, I learned that strength is not only about lifting heavier weight. Technique, understanding your body, and staying consistent are what really decide your results. That is what pulled me deeper into powerlifting and strength training.

Not long after, my younger brother asked me to train him. That is when I understood that coaching someone else is very different from training yourself. When you train yourself, you only have to understand your own body. When you coach another person, everyone has a different starting point, different limits, a different goal, and a different way of learning.

It taught me that coaching is not just handing someone a program. It is understanding the person in front of you, helping them make real progress, and finding the way that gets the best out of them. Since then I have kept studying and building experience so I can help more people get stronger, move better, and reach their goals safely, with results that last.

On the platform

A competitive powerlifter

Jasson does not just coach lifting, he competes. He has stood on the podium at meets across Indonesia, with several first-place finishes, and represented Denpasar at the 2025 Bali provincial games (PORPROV Bali XVI). That platform experience goes straight into how he coaches the squat, bench and deadlift.

Big gym or private gym: what matters

I have coached in both big commercial gyms and in a private home gym, and the two are very different. Working in a commercial gym taught me to coach every kind of client, from fat loss to performance to building muscle. It is a busy, fast environment, so I learned to communicate clearly, adapt to very different people, and give each person what they actually need.

The private gym is more personal. I can give a client my full attention, get to know how they train, and keep a calm space with no crowd and no pressure. It lets me watch progress closely and make sure every rep is done with good technique.

For me the room is not what decides your results. What matters is the quality of the coaching, the right program for you, correct technique, and the commitment to keep improving. That is what you get here, one client at a time.

His private gym in Sanur

You train in Jasson's own private gym in Sanur, never a shared floor. One client at a time means no crowd, no queue for a rack, and full focus on your session. It is set up for real strength work: power rack, barbell and plates, dumbbells to 45 kg, bench, and cable machine.

Sessions are 60 minutes, three times a week is the usual rhythm, and everything is coached in English or Indonesian.
